Each weekend has its own theme with decorations, costume contests, parades, activities, and prizes. Here's what's on the calendar so far:
Christmas in July
Summer magic at camp! Decorate your site with lights, join the golf-cart parade, frost cookies, and meet a beach-ready Santa.

Color Wars Weekend
Show up in white. Leave in rainbow. Color battles, a tie-dye station, team relays, and a finale throw you'll never forget.

Henry Fest
Henry's biggest weekend of the year. Friday night, gather at the campfire for a live author reading and the premiere of Book 2, “Henry the Swan and the Beaver McDam Disaster.” All weekend long: the Henry Parade (deck out your cart or bike — Henry's the Grand Marshall!), Henry relay races, a Henry scavenger hunt, Ranger trainings and induction ceremonies, free face painting for the kids, and a Saturday-night acoustic campfire sing-along.

Fishing Tournament Weekend
First cast at sunrise, last weigh-in at sunset. A real fishing tournament with prize categories for every age — biggest catch, most caught, even smallest catch wins. Tall stories welcome at the leaderboard.

Rubber Duck Race Weekend
A thousand rubber ducks, one winning quack. Decorate yours, grab a number, and watch the famous Country Acres Rubber Duck Race float down to the finish line. Prizes for the luckiest duck owners.

Bigfoot Adventure Weekend
Track it. Cast it. Story it. Find it! Footprint casting, Bigfoot story hour around the fire, and a flashlight hunt the whole family will love.

Back to School Bash
One last adventure before the routine. Sack races, tug-of-war, cornhole tournaments, and the biggest campfire of the season — a final weekend to play hard before school takes over.

Fall Festival Weekend
Autumn arrives at the lake. Hayrides, pumpkin painting, apple cider, a fall market, and s'mores around the fire pit. Trade your shorts for flannel and lean into the season.

Balloon Fest and Camper Crawl
Hot air balloons light up the sky during the Ravenna Balloon A-Fair just down the road. Watch the night glow, then bring it home with a Camper Crawl through the park — themed drinks, snack stops, and door prizes site to site.

Halloween Kickoff Weekend
The pumpkins come out. The cobwebs go up. Country Acres officially flips the switch on Halloween season — site-decorating contests, pumpkin carving stations, costume previews, and the first taste of all the spooky goodness coming all month long. Stake your decorating claim now — judging happens later, and the bar is high.

Monster Mash Weekend
Werewolves welcome. Country Acres hosts the season's biggest monster bash — costume dance parties at the pavilion, monster mash music all weekend, kids' creature crafts, and a Saturday night dance-off that'll have the whole camp howling. Wear the fangs. Bring the moves. The Monster Mash is calling.

Haunted Camp Weekend
This is the scary one. Country Acres turns truly spooky with haunted trail walks, ghost stories around the fire, eerie campsite competitions, and a Saturday night that's not for the faint of heart. There's a kid-friendly track for the little ones — but the after-dark version? Bring a flashlight. Bring a friend. You'll need both.

Halloween Grand Finale
The biggest Halloween weekend of the year. Trunk-or-treat trails through the campground, the season's grand costume contest with real prizes, haunted hayrides, candy by the bucketful, and the kind of Halloween energy you can't recreate anywhere else. If you only camp one Halloween weekend, make it this one.

Closing Weekend
The final weekend. The last trick-or-treat. One more spooky night by the fire before Country Acres closes the gates for the season. We'll send the season out the way it came in — with full hearts, full bags of candy, and a goodbye worth showing up for. Don't miss the last campfire of the year.
